I am a seasoned professional with a robust background in supply chain management and business development, with a deep expertise in streamlining operations and driving strategic initiatives. My unique value is rooted in my unwavering commitment to integrity, honesty, hard work, curiosity, and social and corporate responsibility. These core values serve as my foundation for delivering innovative solutions and creating a significant impact within the industry.
I am extremely blessed as I have been able to successfully raise my 3 children, whilst navigating my professional career and pursuing my academic achievements. Over the past 22 years, I have held various senior positions in BP , ranging from Aviation, Fuels Value Chain and Castrol. I have honed my skills in strategic planning, operations management, and process optimization. My roles have involved overseeing large-scale projects, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity to leading 24/7 bulk hydrocarbon Terminal.
In addition to my professional experience, I am actively engaged in coaching and mentoring emerging professionals. I facilitated Master Classes at the Management College of South Africa focusing of Success Supply Chain Project Leadership as well as in Supply Chain Agility at the University of SA and participated in the MANCOSA Mentorship programme supporting university students. This commitment to nurturing talent and sharing knowledge aligns with my values.
My appointment on the Advisory Board of the University of South Africa – Supply Chain Management Faculty has allows me to contribute to the academic community by providing industry insights and shaping the curriculum to better meet the demands of the evolving logisticslandscape. This involvement reflects my commitment to bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application, ensuring that the next generation of professionals is well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
My appointment as a Board Director of SAPICS – this role allows me to contribute strategically to the growth and transformation of the Supply Chain profession, while championing innovation, collaboration and inclusivity.
Attaining my International Fellowship om Logistics and Transport is both an honour and a significant milestone in my professional journey. It’s a reflection of my commitment to continuous growth, innovation and creating meaningful impact in the evolving world of Supply Chain.
My appointment as the G20 Empower Alliance Advocate Lead enables me to actively contribute to advancing women’s economic empowerment and leadership across sectors. This role provides a powerful platform to engage leaders, policymakers, and partners in driving measurable change to strengthen the pipeline of women. As Advocate Lead, I am committed to amplifying voices, shaping actionable insights, and delivering meaningful outcomes.
Additionally, my appointment as the G100 Country Chair for South Africa for Female CEO’s and Wealth Creation further solidifies my position as a thought leader and advocate for women’s economic empowerment.
As a female leader, I focus on advocating for gender equity and providing mentorship to others. This includes supporting initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, and actively seeking opportunities to mentor and sponsor emerging talent. I strive to lead by example, demonstrating through my actions the value of diverse perspectives and inclusive leadership. My goal is to inspire others and contribute to a culture where all voices are valued and heard.
