MS BOTHO BRIDGET KGATHI

Botho Bridget Kgathi is a seasoned procurement professional with over seven years of experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, inventory management and supplier development.
She has extensive experience in conducting procurement in high value infrastructural development projects and has led the implementation of innovative procurement solutions for advancing end to end online visible Enterprise Resource Planning in private and public entities.

In 2024 she founded an online platform, Conversations in Supply chain with an aim to foster interaction, connect with industry mates, share information and raise awareness on issues around supply chain. This platform has been key in educating professionals and the public about the complexities of procurement matters, trade agreements and their implications in supply chains.

She has been instrumental in accentuating the synergy of supply chain and trade agreements as she formed part of the delegation in Lusaka, Zambia for the launch of African Continental Free Trade Area Digital Trade Forum focusing on leveraging digital trade to accelerate the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and encourage Youth participation in formal trade.

Botho is known for her advocacy in education, youth development and participation in Public Procurement. Her contributions reflect a blend of practical expertise and commitment to fostering compliance, ethical practice as well as information sharing in Supply Chain.

She is currently a Procurement Specialist (Supplies and Services) at Water Utilities Corporation and Her credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration ( Logistics and Supply Chain Management) with the University of Botswana and a Master’ of Arts in Procurement an Logistics Management with Sheffield Hallam University.
