Dr Keith Nkomo
Keith, a Health Economist and a Certified International Professional Strategist (UK) is a doctoral
graduate (Malaysia) who led a thesis on Sustainable Health Financing Strategies for Healthcare Cost
Reduction in low-middle income countries. He is an adaptable leader with at least 15years experience
across health funding, retail banking, and business development. He is the founder and CEO of Tres
Groupe International, an Insurtech organisation that has pioneered Real Time Claims Processing and
Settlement model in healthcare, culminating to a transactional medical aid card as well as real time
reporting and monitoring frameworks for comprehensive healthcare provision, better therapies and
financing.
He also serves as the Consulting Director, Digital Transformation and Telemedicine
(Southern Africa) at Intrapharma, a UAE based medical pharma organisation that developed an
integrated healthcare and pharma value chain through strategic investments, manufacturing
investment support, and advances new innovative treatments. His versatility has afforded him an
opportunity to turn around institutions to financial growth and demonstrable knowledge of regional
expansion projects. Amongst other qualifications, he holds a Master of Commerce in Strategic
Management and Corporate Governance (ZW), Msc Health Economics and Health Policy*(UK), Bsc
(Hons) Human Resource Management (ZW), Executive Certificate in Treasury Management. Keith has
served on the Association of Health Funders of Zimbabwe board where he chaired the Tariffs
Committee as well as the Lobbying & Academic Committee with his considerable experience of
managing public funds attained as a Principal Officer in one of the major health funders.
