Martin Stimela, the Co-founder and CEO of Brastorne, is dedicated to addressing the digital divide that affects 760 million underserved Africans. With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in digital transformation, Martin has worked on major transformation projects for Banks (Lloyds Banking Group) and utility Companies (EON, RWE) in Europe, being a Director of the Botswana Savings Bank and successfully managing US government cooperative agreements aimed at enhancing health systems as Informatics Director for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and USAID.

Martin currently serves as the President of the Southern Africa chapter of Stanford Seed, a partnership between Stanford University and De-beers to end global poverty.
